Registration issues on Viber desktop

To activate Viber for Desktop, you will need to use the access code sent to you as a Viber message. Do not use your Viber mobile code, which is sent as a SMS. You will also need to ensure that the version of Viber on your mobile is the lastest version available. 

Latest Viber versions:

Android: 3.0

iPhone: 3.0

Blackberry: 2.4

Windows Phone 8: 3.1 (Partially compatible with Viber Desktop, may encounter
sync issues)

Windows Phone 7, S40/S60 & Bada: Do not require the latest Viber version (Partially
compatible with Viber Desktop, may encounter sync issues)

Registration Issues:

1. If a dialog appears on Viber Desktop instructing you to download Viber on your mobile
   device, even though you have already done so:

 1. Uninstall Viber Desktop
 2. Download Viber Desktop from http://www.viber.com
 3. Install and activate Viber Desktop

2. If you downloaded the latest Viber version on your mobile device, but the dialog screen
   instructing you to download Viber reappears:

1. Exit Viber Desktop completely
2. Open Viber on your mobile device
3. Wait for 20 seconds
4. Register Viber Desktop
